Without further ado, here's an introduction to our Women Playing Hamlet cast.
Lauren Pickthorn (Jessica) is making her first appearance in a MRTC production but early this year she appeared in two Shakespeare shows; once as Stephano in The Tempest for the Twilight Theater Company in Portland and as Horatio in the Canon Shakespeare Company’s inauguration production of Hamlet also in Portland.
Diane Edwards Slamp (Gwen) was cast as Safanthus in the Majesticpiece Theatre production of Derric the Seventh last May.
Angie de Morgan (Actress 1) played Alice in the February MRTC show, The Tin Woman. Before that she was Mrs. Hudson in the season four presentation of Fahrenheit 451.
Abrianna Feinauer (Actress 2) appeared as Frederick in the August Majesticpiece Theatre performance of The Rover.
Arlee Olson (Actress 3) played Alex in On the Verge and Kuroko Two in Shakespeare’s Long Lost First Play.
Aubrie Piper (Actress 4) is celebrating her first appearance on stage since high school where she had parts in the Pirates of Penzance and Into the Woods.
