Renting the Majestic

Scheduling

Scheduling of the theatre is by reservation through Majestic Theatre business office.

Each year, a scheduling meeting is held for users who wish to schedule for the following year. The parties attending cooperate to share the schedule in a fair and equitable way. No one may schedule for that year until this meeting is complete. Then anyone may schedule on a first come, first served basis.

Positive effort is made to facilitate communication between the different users to coordinate their schedules and needs and thus maximize their potential use of the theatre.

For more information see To Schedule Your Event.

Use of building and equipment

Use of the theatre requires the issuance of a Use Agreement by MTM. The agreement stipulates the conditions of use and the parties responsible for compliance with the terms of the Use Agreement, which includes a list of Use Regulations specifying exact responsibilities and privileges of the User.

Majestic sound, lighting, and A/V equipment must be operated by trained personnel only as authorized by the management.

Free artistic expression is encouraged by permitting the public to use the facility without discrimination and by allowing events which are free from censorship.

Reasonable fees for the use of the theatre and equipment are charged to support theatre operations. A schedule of fees and charges are established and annually adjusted by the Board of Directors to reflect any changes in operating costs or use (see Rental Rates).
